Well today I went shopping for all this weeks ingredients. It came out to a whopping $42 (plus I used coupons so it would have been $72.50-$2.07 per meal). Not bad. That it's about $1.20 a meal! I feel really good about this diet. I hope it tastes alright though! Either way I am going to push through this! I have a partner in crime, my mom. She is going through this with me so I am excited to have a partner! Part of me is so excited I want to start it now! But I know come tomorrow I will be counting down the minutes until I can have a solid meal again! Today I taking my before photos and also my measurements! I figured I'd take measurements every three days. Wish me luck! :)

Good Luck to you and your mom!! I will be shopping for the ingredients this afternoon myself, to start tomorrow evening. I know I am late getting to this party, but I figured better late than never. Not a smoothie fan - I really like to chew - but I think I can do anything for five days and I see there are actual meals once you get to phase 2.

Yes there are actual meals! Even though these might not taste the best, you know it's for the best! You are strong and can do anything you put your mind to. It will only be as hard as you make it. You will do great and be so successful. Just keep up the good work and ALWAYS look forward!

is anyone having problems with the soups? I have tried both the brocolli and the tomato soups. They smell and look so creamy when I blend them. But once I go to heat them, they become grainy and separate. Has anyone found a solution. I find all am I having is smoothies.

I made the cream of broccoli. If it's a little thick. Add water to thin it out. I heated mine in the microwave but not for very long. I also used Steamfresh Broccoli steamed in the micro. It's faster.

I am on my second day of Phase 2. Stick to Phase 1 as close as you can and you will be happy with your results. Choose fruits and veggies (like Kale and Spinach) that you like for your smoothies. Apples are great for making them sweeter and you won't need sugar substitute. Drink lots of water. Good luck. Phase 2 awaits!

I absolutely LOVE spinach in my smoothies! Before this diet my boyfriend and I were eating spinach smoothies for breakfast. SO YUMMY!
